Shabbat Candle Lighti n
8:13 p m on Friday, August 9, 2019

What a busy couple of weeks for CNT. A couple of weeks ago, we had our Super CNT Weekend which included a Friday Night Service led by Rabbi Prass, an outdoor movie viewing, and an Open House for the synagogue a
nd religious school. I would like to thank the Membership and Education committees, along with many other members who helped set up and attend the various events. Your attendance and support were much appreciated. This past weekend was the beginning of our Religious School year. What a great start
it was. It was great to see all of the children back at Religious School eager to begin the new year.  Thanks to Bob and Sue Huebsch, Johanna Kohler, Jennifer Seitel, and all of our Religious School teachers
for getting everything ready for the first day.

This weekend we have a few more events planned. This Friday night, Lexi Freedman will be assisting with Friday night services ahead of her Bat Mitzvah. Best wishes to Lexi and her family as they celebrate her becoming a Bat Mitzvah.

On Sunday, we will have another CNT hike. It will be a casual hike to the top of Kennesaw Mountain for beginners and experts. We will meet at the visitors center at 9:15 am. We hope you will join us for this fun event.

You will begin to see even more events announced as we get into the high holiday and fall season. Fall is always a busy time but I hope you will take the opportunity to attend one or more of the upcoming events to see what CNT is all about or to reconnect with other members. If you are interested in seeing other events or helping  to lead or participate in an event, we are always looking for new ideas and new helpers. Please reach out to anyone on the board  or at  [email protected]  with your suggestions. Have a great rest of the week and hope to see you at Friday Night Services or an upcoming event.
