Great Things are Coming from Membership!
Welcoming new members and engaging current members is critical to sustaining the congregation and to creating a vibrant community. The membership committee works with other committees and the board to introduce potential members to Congregation Ner Tamid. We provide programs for our diverse community and would love to hear what ideas our members have in regards to events. Some exciting things in the works are a March Madness outing, Challah baking and some surprises along the way!
One idea we would love to hear thoughts on is our Congregation working concessions at Braves games during the upcoming season. We would need a core group of volunteers who could commit to working games and concerts during the season. The Braves provide the training and we pick the block of events we want to work. This would be a great way to meet new members, bond with old and enjoy our hometown Braves. This is open to anyone so ask your friends if they would do this with you as well. If interested, please contact Melissa Adelman at [email protected].
The membership committee meets the first Sunday of every month and is always open to anyone who would like to get involved. If you like meeting new people and enjoy good conversation, let us know. Your experience can help newer members find their way.
Warm Regards,
Melissa Adelman, Director at Large
