Religious School News

THE PRINCIPAL NEEDS YOUR HELP!!!!
Dear CNT Families,  for the past two months articles and announcements have been made
seeking to fill positions at our school.  We are still in need of volunteer teachers:
Kindergarten Lead + 7th Grade Assistant

Over the years many of you have asked me if I needed help...well, now is the time.
Lesson plans are provided and written in a clear format. Religious School is three hours on Sunday, 9:00 am - 12:00 noon.I cannot continue every Sunday dividing my duties between a classroom and proper administration of the school. I need volunteers to step forward.
We are all invested in the future of Congregation Ner Tamid
and it starts with our children. I look forward to hearing from you soon,
Elaine Gutenstein, Principal
Congregation Ner Tamid Religious School

BRING US YOUR BOX TOPS!
Thank you all for helping the Religious School by bringing in your Box Tops
for Education. We will be getting approximately $100. Please keep them coming.
Maybe we can do even better next year. - Elaine and Sue H

The Education Committee is pleased to announce a Summer Camp Open House featuring r epresentatives from Camp Barney, Camp Coleman and Camp Judaea. Each will present an overview of their program and answer questions for the 2019 summer. Please plan on attending after Religious school to find the perfect summer camp experience for your child.

CNT BALLOTS ARE DUE NOVEMBER 25
Hopefully, all members have received their ballots by now. These ballots must be returned by November 25 to be included and counted. Our goal is to have them completed on December 2. Please don't put them aside and accidentally forget about them.
If you have any problems, please contact the Elections Committee at [email protected] Thank you so much for all your cooperation.

Mitzvah Moments

Blair Berenson - January 26, 2019
I would love your support as I "pedal for pups" for my Bar Mitzvah project!
I will be biking 150 miles over a 4 month period to raise $1,500 for a much needed  new shed at Bosley's Place, a nursery for homeless and orphaned neonatal and underage puppies located in Smyrna, GA. To learn more about the project and donate  to my cause, please visit my website at  https://blairbear85.wixsite.com/mysite .
Feel free to share with family and friends...it's for the puppies!

I NSPIRATIONAL SUNDAY "LUNCH & LEARN"
Last Sunday, our community welcomed 60 congregants and guests for our first
"Lunch & Learn" Program of the year. It was truly a pleasure to  be enlightened by Holocaust Survivor Helen Weingarten.  Our sincere thanks go out to our partners in education,  The Breman Museum, and to Rabbi Prass. On a personal note,
we'd like to
once again thank everyone who helped behind the scences to make
the event successful. -
