Genesis 25:19−28:9
This is the line of Isaac son of Abraham: Abraham begot Isaac.

SUMMARY:
· Rebekah has twins, Esau and Jacob. (25:19-26)
·  Esau gives Jacob his birthright in exchange for some stew. (25:27-34)
·  King Abimelech is led to think that Rebekah is Isaac's sister and later finds out that she is really his wife. (26:1-16)
·  Isaac plans to bless Esau, his firstborn. Rebekah and Jacob deceive Isaac so that Jacob receives the blessing. (27:1-29)
·  Esau threatens to kill Jacob, who then flees to Haran. (27:30-45)

The Holiday Season Begins
As we welcome Thanksgiving this week let's all be thankful for our wonderful family and friends, as well as our CNT family. As the year winds down, Membership is gearing up to for our annual Hanukkah Menorah lighting on the Marietta Square scheduled for Saturday, December 28 at 6:30 pm with a rain date of Sunday, December 29. There will be a dance performance, hot chocolate and gift cards will be given to lucky winners of a raffle. We hope to see everyone there.
Some other things going on this month to be on the lookout for: our end of the year celebration on Saturday, December 14 featuring a Havdalah service and dinner - look for more information and evite to come soon. Save the date of January 25 at 4:00 pm for our first ever CNT challah bake.
Membership is looking forward to the new year and would welcome ideas for future events.

CNT YEAR END  FAMILY CELEBRATION
December 14 at 6:00 pm

 Please join us for nd of the year festivities including a Havdalah service led by Rabbi Prass with a Chinese dinner to follow.  We will be announcing the new board members and thanking those who will be leaving the board. Then we will open the floor for discussion.  It's been a busy year
and next year will be even busier. 
Our new board will be meeting in
January to plan out the year, and would love to hear any suggestions or feedback. 
As part of the celebration, our Youth Group (NERTY)
will be having its annual dreidel tournament and Hanukkah get together. 
Be on the lookout for more information on this fun night.  
Please rsvp to the evite with the number of adults & children attending.   We're looking forward to seeing you there!
