To members and friends of Covenant: Notice of Congregational Meeting

 

With gratitude for his service, the Session has concurred with a request from Associate Pastor Jeff Fox-Kline and the Personnel Committee for a congregational meeting on Sunday, February 27 at 12 noon via zoom, for the purpose of dissolving the pastoral relationship as of Monday, February 28.

 

After consultation with the Committee on Ministry of John Knox Presbytery and a great deal of prayer and discussion, the mutual decision was made between Jeff, the Personnel Committee, and the Session to dissolve the pastoral relationship and grant a severance package with seven months of salary, health care, and pension.

The Personnel Committee and Session appreciate Jeff’s service at Covenant and wish him well in his future endeavors. Please join us for this important meeting of the congregation, via Zoom on Sunday February 27 at noon; a zoom link will be sent out next week.
