We recently stopped by Omega Communications to thank them for 40 years of membership and to get an update.
Warren Saari, President and GM of Omega Communications, gave us a tour and showed us SmartTalk, a two-way radio that operates over a secure, private channel and is actually legal to use while driving (cellphones are not of course).
He also mentioned plans to work with a ski resort to outfit groomers with GPS sensors so that skiers/snowboarders are alerted where to find the freshly groomed runs.
Thank you Warren and Omega for the hospitality. Here's to another 40 years!
