Home, Auto, Commercial Updates

We are in what is called a hard insurance market, meaning that it is going to be more difficult to change companies, underwriting will be tighter on coverages, premiums will be increasing, and if you have multiple claims, you may have difficulty finding coverage. We are happy to help you navigate these situations and guide you on the best coverage options to fit your needs.

Auto Reminders

In the event of an accident follow these steps.

  1. Call the police.
  2. Use your smartphone to take photos of all the vehicles involved as soon as you can. Get each angle, vehicle, road signs, markings, skid marks, etc.
  3. Get the license plate number, drivers name, address, phone number, and insurance information. (Take a picture of all if able).
  4. Don't engage in discussion about who was at fault, don't apologize, don't leave the scene until okayed by police or information has been exchanged.
  5. Contact your insurance company to turn in the claim as soon as you are able to, giving as much information as possible.

Home Insurance Reminders

  1. Check your outdoor spigots after the cold winter to ensure there are no frozen pipes which can lead to water damage.
  2. Clean gutters to ensure proper drainage.
  3. Seal any areas that may allow water or animals to enter your home.
  4. Damage by vermin, birds, rodents, insects or animals are generally excluded. Be pro-active. Prevent damage and be aware.

E Bike Coverage

  • We are able to cover E-bikes and can get you some quotes. Please let us know if you would like a quote or add it to your current policy.

Don't Be Insurance Poor

Crop Hail Coverage

June 1 is the deadline for existing growers to change their hail coverage from last year. Wind coverage deadline to endorse your wind coverage is June 15. Speak to one of our experts on the hail coverage that best fits your needs.

Things to consider when choosing hail coverage.

  • What product to purchase
  • Dollar amount
  • Deductible
  • Soybean vs Corn
  • Non-Irrigated vs Irrigated
  • You can always increase coverage, we just need 2 hours notice to enter before the storm
  • Notify us in the event of a loss, we will enter the notice to our crop company and an adjuster will contact you.
  • Do not destroy the crop until you have the ok from your adjustor.
