Imagine What God Can Do!
This Sunday, November 1, Alleluia celebrates 25 years of ministry! Twenty-five years of worship, friendships, baptisms, confirmations, weddings, laughter, tears, service, and faith. Twenty-five years of people coming together to be the church in this community.
And we are going to celebrate! I hope you will join us for our one worship service at 10:00 AM, followed by lunch and a special anniversary program. We will hear from former pastor, Jacqui Thone, who served Alleluia for ten years, from Carol Bauer, who has been part of this congregation since its early days, and we will spend some time imagining what comes next.
That last part is what has me pondering.
Think about what the world looked like 25 years ago. Could those who first dreamed of Alleluia have imagined all the people whose lives would be touched by this congregation? All the relationships formed, the lives changed, the faith nurtured, and the love shared?
Now, imagine another 25 years.
What will Alleluia look like in 2051? Who will be sitting in our sanctuary? How will we worship? Who will be our neighbors? What needs will our community have? What new ways might God call us to love, serve, welcome, and share the good news of Jesus Christ?
I don't know the answers. And that is what makes the question so exciting!
Because the future of Alleluia isn't simply about preserving what we have built. It is about being open to what God is still creating among us. The same faithful God who brought this congregation into being is not finished with us yet.
As we celebrate, I also invite you to prayerfully consider a special 25th Anniversary financial gift to help build Alleluia's future. You can give online or bring your pledge card to place in the offering basket during worship this Sunday.
So come celebrate on Sunday. Come remember. Come give thanks. But most of all, come ready to imagine. Because with God's help, who knows what the next 25 years might bring?
See you in worship!

A Book & Bible Study in One
Based on The Ones We Wait for by Michael Ivanov
What happens in the moments after we leave this world—and who are we waiting for when we get there?
Join WILD for a unique book and Bible study centered on Michael Ivanov’s moving novel, The Ones We Wait For.
The story follows Luke, who has spent his afterlife guiding new arrivals from an old train station in the valley toward the luminous city beyond. Along the way, he helps people face old wounds, discover peace, and move toward what awaits them all while Luke himself waits for someone he lost long ago. It is an unexpected story of reunion, grace, faith, redemption, and enduring love.
Together, we’ll read the novel and use its story as a starting point for exploring Scripture and talking about some of the questions at the heart of our faith: What does it mean to hope in God’s promises? How do grace and forgiveness shape our lives? What do we believe about loss, love, redemption, and the life to come?
Come read, wonder, question, laugh, reflect, and share together. Whether you are a longtime Bible-study participant or simply intrigued by the book, you are welcome and be sure to bring a friend.

Hello Crafters and Vendors:
The Holiday Season is coming up fast! Plans are underway for THIS year’s Holiday Boutique, on Saturday, December 5, 2026 from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM at Alleluia Lutheran Church (10401 30th St. NE., St. Michael). We would LOVE it if you would join us again this year and help support our ongoing outreach to our local community and Haiti. Did you know that 100% of your vendor fee will go directly to support our Outreach Ministries at Alleluia? Alleluia is committed to serving those in our community and beyond. We partner with Every Meal to support students at Fieldstone Elementary with weekend food, Breakfast at the Playground during the summer, Mental Health Connect, Hanover Food Shelf, St. Michael Food Shelf, and Healing Haiti.
If you are interested in being a part of THIS year’s Holiday Boutique, please contact Sue. For your convenience, we have an online application and payment option. We are limiting the number of vendors this year to allow all vendors to be in the fellowship area (so sign up early). Our youth room will be used for our “Grandma’s Attic” sale.
Also, please help us spread the word and invite others to be a vendor/crafter at our event, or to just come out and shop on December 5th! Feel free to forward this to others who may be interested in participating!
Thank you for your consideration to join us this year and we hope to see you on December 5th!!!

Easy Ways to Give Electronically
It's easy to give electronically - and you can make changes any time you'd like. For each of these methods, once you're set up, it's easy to give any time (and the set-up is pretty easy, too!)
Please note: If you set up your giving as a debit from your bank account, (instead of using a credit or debit card) there are no service fees and your full donation will go to Alleluia. You can also donate the service fee as part of your giving if you prefer to use a card.
Thank you for all the ways you continue to give generously to the ministry of Alleluia.
