I want to thank everyone who participated in our City Manager Conversations over the last month. As always, these are valuable opportunities to touch base with all of you and to hear your feedback on matters that I might otherwise be unaware of. The engagement is greatly appreciated. If you didn’t have the chance to attend or have additional thoughts to share, please do so through the feedback form.
You may have seen that the City recently made public a comprehensive Community Survey. The survey is intended to poll our residents on service satisfaction and community priorities. The data collected from the survey will serve as an important precursor to the City’s Strategic Planning process, which will begin this fall. I want to thank everyone who participated in the survey development process for their insights and feedback. Your input helped shape the survey tool and improved the final product. I want to specifically acknowledge Reagan Walsh, Management Analyst in the City Manager’s Office, who served as the project lead for this process. Reagan spent time with each City Department and elected official to ensure the survey was comprehensive and incorporated input from anyone that wanted to take part.
Finally, I want to wish everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July. I hope you have a wonderful time with family and friends, celebrating our Nation’s Independence. I also want to recognize the many City employees who will be working the holiday in various capacities. The City wouldn’t run without your commitment and dedication. Thank you for all that you do.
Take care,
Jason
