Presidents Message

Dear WINS Members,

I hope everyone enjoyed our March luncheon as much as I did! A huge thank you to Dr. Novak for her insightful talk on the importance of allowing ourselves permission to slow down and take care of our well-being. It was a much-needed reminder for all of us.

We also hope you liked our new buffet-style luncheon format — it was a great opportunity to mix, mingle, and enjoy some delicious food together.

Looking ahead, I’m excited for our April luncheon, featuring a special presentation by our VP of Programs, Amy Corneau. It’s sure to be another inspiring session!

Lastly, let's give a warm welcome to our newest member, Robyn Richardson. We’re so happy to have you with us!

Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

Looking forward to our next meeting!

With gratitude and excitement,

Ana Asatouri

President, WINS

What's on Your Plate???

Our VP of Programs, Amy Corneau, will be leading our members in an interactive activity about time management.

This promises to be a very informative, useful and fun networking activity, designed to help you learn more about yourself and others.

Board Member Spotlight

Christina Henteleff

Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, I admittedly was a typical “Valley Girl”. First the school mascot for Chatsworth High, then Head Varsity Cheerleader. I’ve always loved being out there having fun! I am enthusiastic in just about everything I do with a spirit of living life to it’s fullest.

I moved to Simi 32 years ago when I married my husband Steve and have loved our community ever since! This is what makes being a Realtor® my pride and passion. The ability to help families move into their next chapter in life is THE BEST FEELING! Whether it’s a first-time home buyer or an empty nester down-sizing, it’s pure joy to help make it happen.

When I am not putting a deal together, I am on the pickleball court, blasting dance music or cooking. My motto is “Life is short. Eat the cake, buy the shoes, plan a vacation… but make sure you always have a safe place to land at the end of the day!”

A Very Special

Bank Account

Imagine you had a bank account that deposited $86,400 each morning. The account carries over no balance from day to day, allows you to keep no cash balance, and every evening cancels whatever part of the amount you had failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out every dollar each day!

We all have such a bank. Its name is Time. Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever time you have failed to use wisely. It carries over no balance from day to day. It allows no overdraft so you can’t borrow against yourself or use more time than you have. Each day, the account starts fresh. Each night, it destroys an unused time. If you fail to use the day’s deposits, it’s your loss and you can’t appeal to get it back.

There is never any borrowing time. You can’t take a loan out on your time or against someone else’s. The time you have is the time you have and that is that. Time management is yours to decide how you spend the time, just as with money you decide how you spend the money. It is never the case of us not having enough time to do things, but the case of whether we want to do them and where they fall in our priorities.

Brenda Blair

Movement is my passion—whether I’m guiding clients through Pilates, staying active myself, or embracing new challenges. And food—I love to eat! You can’t move without fuel, right?

As the owner and instructor of Misfit Pilates in Simi Valley, I help people build strength, confidence, and, most importantly, community. Yes, we teach Pilates, but what we really do is bring people together—and that’s a beautiful thing to curate.

Before opening the studio, I spent 17 years as a Producer in the film and TV industry, where I mastered the art of storytelling, creativity, and perseverance—while also becoming business-savvy.

When I’m not in the studio (or eating), I’m on a long hike or curled up at home with my husband and our two cats, enjoying Caturday—aka movie time. Fun fact: We once had a chinchilla!

Connecting with inspiring women drives me, which is why I love being part of WINS!
