Have you had a chance to look through our recent Community Survey Results? The responses were overwhelmingly positive and serve as an affirmation of City staff’s hard work and dedication.

I’m lucky to observe first-hand the incredible pride all of you take in your work, and it’s gratifying to see the community recognize your outstanding efforts.

The findings report includes a lot of great data, and here are a few things that stood out to me:

  • 98% of respondents rated the quality of life in the City as “excellent” or “good”
  • 94% of respondents rated the quality of services provided by the City as “excellent” or “good”
  • Satisfaction with City services is much higher in Lake Forest than other communities. The City rates above the US average in all 25 areas assessed and significantly above the average for similarly sized communities in 23 of the 25 areas assessed.

If you haven’t had a chance, look through the full survey findings report or the overview presentation slides.

Results like this don’t happen by accident- the work you do every day shapes community perceptions of Lake Forest and is the driving factor behind the exceptional quality of life our residents enjoy.

I know at times it can feel like your hard work goes unnoticed. I hope you take these results to heart and know that your efforts are valued and recognized by the community. Keep up the great work!
