The City's Computer Purchase Assistance Program is available to all full-time employees who have completed probation. Borrow up to $2,500 interest-free for the purchase of a home computer or laptop. Loan payments are made through payroll deductions over a two-year period.

*If selected, you do the legwork in finding the computer equipment. The purchase must be approved in advance of receiving the loan. The official flyer and guidelines can be found on the HR website.

Public Works Apprentice Program is officially fully staffed!

We are excited to introduce the newest members of Public Works as we launch the Apprentice trainee program. The new training program is a cornerstone of Public Works recruitment, succession planning, and cross training efforts. We are excited for the opportunity to develop internal talent- 6 of our new apprentices have been promoted from the seasonal program!
