NEWS

CTN Update: Response to the Second Provincial Emergency
Yesterday the Ontario government announced a second provincial emergency effective Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. The government has issued a stay-at-home order requiring everyone to remain at home with exceptions for essential purposes, such as going to the grocery store or pharmacy, accessing health care services, for exercise or for essential work. We will continue to support clients during the provincial emergency through our virtual-first service delivery model. For more information around our COVID-19 response, please visit our dedicated webpage on our website.

Supporting Effective Partnerships - Client Rights and Responsibilities and Complaint Policy
CTN is committed to protecting and promoting the rights of the people we serve in accordance with the laws of Ontario. It's important to us that clients are aware of these rights and responsibilities so we can work together effectively. Families who are currently receiving CTN services will receive a letter or email later this month. We also encourage families to review our complaint process and how to make a complaint as feedback helps us address any concerns, issues and improve network processes.

Financial Support for Learners
Eligible parents or guardians can get financial support to help with additional costs during the 2020-2021 school year due to COVID-19. A one-time payment of $200 for each child up to grade 12 or $250 for each child or youth up to age 21 with special needs. Application is now open.
