December 2024

Happy Holidays from the CTN Team!

As the year comes to an end, it is a time of reflection and appreciation. In 2024, we worked collectively towards our vision of a vibrant community where all kids, youth and families belong.

Together with our partners, families and the CTN team, we continued to make progress on our strategic priorities and live out our values of inclusion, collaboration, responsibility and innovation.

We are Better Together.

We look forward to all that we can achieve together in 2025 to support kids, youth and families. If you are looking for resources to support you and your family over the holidays, our Community and Family Coordinators (CFCs) have compiled a list of tips to help reduce holiday stress.

From the CTN team to you and your loved ones, we wish you a joyful and safe time with friends and family as we reflect on the many different holidays celebrated during this time of year and embrace the rest of this festive season.

Your Child and the Flu Vaccine

As we all head indoors with the approach of cooler weather, respiratory illnesses are on the rise, including influenza, also referred to as “the flu”. Influenza is a serious infection of the airway system, and more dangerous to your child than the common cold. Flu prevention is important to protect your loved ones, those people who may be vulnerable and the health care system.

Support CTN's Family Fund this Holiday Season

Giving Tuesday is over but it’s never too late to support families in the community! Applications to CTN’s Family Fund are at a record high. The Fund is supported through generous donations in the community.
