CTN COVID-19 Update: Telepractice, Online Learning and more
CTN's vision is to build brighter futures together and despite the current need to be apart, we're working with our employees, network partners and families during this challenging time.  Please continue to follow CTN (@CTNKids) on Facebook , Twitter and Instagram  and our website for our most recent updates.

COVID-19 Resources for Families
CTN's team of parent mentors, service navigators and local team facilitators have compiled the resources below for children and youth with disabilities and developmental needs. If you have information to share, please email info@ctnsy.ca

Changes to Special Services at Home Eligible Expenses
The Ontario government is temporarily expanding the list of eligible expenses under the Special Services at Home program to support individuals and their families while community-based activities and settings are closed. These changes allow families to use funding for goods and services to make it easier to stay at home and practice physical distancing.

Join Us for Virtual Coffee Chats Thursdays at 2:00 p.m.
We are working collaboratively with our local team facilitators to tailor some of our programs and events to continue to support our children, youth and families. We know how important it is for families to stay connected with each other especially during this unprecedented time. CTN is offering virtual coffee chats via Zoom every Thursday in May at 2 p.m. We look forward to having coffee with you!

STORIES

How Are You Doing?
In the coming weeks, CTN's Neuropsychology Team will be sharing a series of posts to support the mental wellness of the children, youth and families that we serve. We hope that these posts and additional resources will also provide you with comfort and encouragement as we adjust to our new ways of working, interacting and going about our daily lives. This first post focuses on goal setting and managing expectations.

Happy Mother's Day
This year's Mother's Day may look a little different because we're physically distancing, but there are many ways to celebrate. Our friends at Autism Ontario have put together a great collection of activities, recipes and games to celebrate Mom on Sunday! Wishing all our CTN moms a very Happy Mother's Day!

EVENTS
This events calendar features events hosted by CTN, our partner organizations and other local organizations that we thought may be of interest to your family. New events are added to our network calendar each week! Check out the upcoming dates for virtual events.
