Join us for CTN's Summer Park Events
CTN's Family Mentor Program and Local Team Facilitators are hosting two upcoming summer park events for families. Have some fun in the sun and at the splash pad with light snacks, outdoor activities and a chance to network with other parents of children or youth with special needs.

Introducing New Online Registration for CTN Events
Starting this fall, CTN will be using MyCommunityHub to register for all events, workshops and webinars. If you have not used this online tool, simply click the link below and create an account. 
  

Join us for Mornings at the Park this Month
In partnership with the York Catholic District School Board, CTN is hosting a drop-in program that provides an inclusive environment for children to participate in playground activities. It is  facilitated by a physiotherapist and offers a range of integrated activities to help children  access the playground. Parents and caregivers will leave with  individualized strategies to help increase opportunities for physical activity, have fun and make memories. Siblings are welcome!

Special Needs Parenting: Tips for Camp Success
For kids with special needs, camp is a great place for kids to experience opportunities to develop gross and fine motor skills, social communication and make new friends. Most importantly, camp is FUN! Encouraging time outdoors, playing away from screens and engaging with peers improves a child's overall quality of life and sets him or her up for success.
