NEWS & STORIES
CTN has integrated the Local Team Facilitator (LTF) service and the Family Resource Program into one program called the Community and Family Participation Program (CFPP). The program will continue to provide a range of valuable supports and services to families, local communities and network partners through the Community and Family Coordinator (CFC) team. In the coming months, we look forward to getting feedback from families on the services and programs that they need most.
Get excited and plan together as a family, letting the kids lead the way. Here are some ideas to help make your Halloween safe and fun for kids of all abilities.
This month is recognized to help reduce the stigma surrounding learning disabilities (LDs) in kids, youth and adults. Our partners at Learning Disabilties Association of York Region provide support, programs and resources for students, parents and teachers.
Markham Stouffville Hospital is now named Oak Valley Health. The new name, which unifies two hospitals – Markham Stouffville Hospital and Uxbridge Hospital – including a number of community-based services, celebrates their rich history and represents their diverse communities. As a result of their new name, they have updated their social media handle names to @OakValleyHealth along with changing their email addresses, from user@msh.on.ca to user@oakvalleyhealth.ca. This email changeover took place on September 14, 2022. Please be sure to make this update in your address book.
