JULY 2022
Last month we hosted our Annual General Meeting with great success! With a theme of
Future Forward, this special evening allowed us to reflect on our accomplishments over the past year and get excited for our future.

We hope you will take a moment to view our Year in Review video below and flip through the pages of our 2021-22 Annual Report. Thank you to each and every one of you for your unwavering commitment to building brighter futures for the children, youth and families we serve.
CAMPS, WORKSHOPS & EVENTS
Families are invited to visit Kinark Autism Services in Barrie on July 11th to check out their new, child-friendly Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Centre. If you’re interested in learning more about centre-based services, don't miss this opportunity to tour the new centre and meet the clinical team.
Our network calendar features events hosted by CTN, our partner organizations and other local community agencies that may be of interest to your family. New workshops, programs and events are added each week.
NEWS & STORIES
The CTN Equipment Loan Program (ELP) has two new pieces of equipment that support participation in a variety of activities for children and youth with disabilities and developmental needs. The functionalhand® and the EazyHold Universal Cuff can be used separately or together and can be borrowed for up to 12 weeks.
Birthday parties are lots of fun! Planning an event that considers ways to help activities be more inclusive and accessible can help create more opportunities for people of all needs and abilities to participate in the fun!
Did Your Child Receive Virtual Care Services?
In partnership with Empowered Kids Ontario (EKO), researchers at the Offord Centre for Child Studies at McMaster University are performing a research study to evaluate virtual care services offered to children across Ontario.

If you are a parent/caregiver of a child (under 18 years of age) who has received virtual care in Ontario, and you are interested in learning more or participating in this research please contact us at [email protected] or 905-525-9140 ext. 21263.

Participation in this research involves the completion of an online questionnaire that will be emailed to you directly. You will receive a $20 gift card in appreciation of your time.
