Rev. Adam Young Baptizes PhD Student at University of Florida
Sunday, Sept. 26 was a powerful day at the Chapel of the Incarnation in Gainesville.

Rev. Adam Young baptized Josh Perlin, a PhD student at the University of Florida. Josh came to the Chapel last year from Duke as a curious seeker. From a Jewish upbringing, Josh was investigating the claims of Jesus as the Messiah.

After many conversations, prayer, Bible studies in the book of Hebrews, and joining in the life of the ministry at Incarnation, Josh declared, "I want to follow Jesus Christ." His presence and maturing faith has been a rich blessing to the Chapel community and a reminder of the deep love of a God who keeps his promises.

Josh has jumped right in, contributing as a member of the Chapel. Prior to the start of the semester, he helped several African graduate students move into their new apartment and even donated some of his own belongings to help them feel at home.

Give thanks to the Lord with us, because the grace and mercy of the Gospel is at work among us!
