Dear Connect HS Families,
We are looking forward to our Student Led Conferences next week! It gives our students an opportunity to own their learning and share what is going well and where they may need more help. We also want our families to know that we have math tutoring available with Connect HS Students!!! Each Monday and Tuesday from 3:15 - 4:00 pm in Learning Space 1. The student tutors are supported by Ms. Nicole!!

This Thursday 10/17 and Friday 10/18 at 10:19 am both days. Please remind your students to take all safety drills seriously and follow directions.
PSAT
We are excited to offer the PSAT for 11th graders on October 30th at our school! The PSAT is a great way to prepare for the SAT, measure academic progress, and qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program.
PSAT Interest Survey: Please let us know if you are interested in taking the PSAT by filling out this survey. It also includes an option to request additional resources for preparation.

There will be no Asynchronous classes on campus the week of October 21st due to Student Led Conferences.
Student Led-Conferences (SLC)
Connect High School will hold our SLCs the week of October 21st-25th. Teachers will begin to send family sign-ups.
Our SLC schedule will be a minimum day schedule with NO ADVISORY:
Period 1 – 9:15 - 10:10
Period 2 – 10:15 - 11:10
Period 3 – 11:15 - 12:10
Students will have a grab and go lunch option however they should be picked up after 3rd period. There will be NO ASYNCHRONOUS classes this week, students will have class on their assigned cohort days.
Parent Advisory Committee
The Parent Advisory Committee is an opportunity for parents, students, & staff to work collaboratively to:
-review the school program,
-review data and identify needs
-make recommendations regarding the School Safety Plan & the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).
Our meetings for the year are scheduled for the following dates and times:
Monday November 18th from 5:00-6:00pm
Monday February 10th from 5:00-6:00pm
Monday March 10th from 5:00-6:00pm
Monday April 21st from 5:00-6:00pm
(All families are welcome to attend even if you are not a PAC member)
