Employees of the Month of January 2024!


On Thursday, January 18, 2024, the Lake Elsinore USD Board of Trustees recognized four outstanding employees as the January 2024 Employees of the Month!


  • Valerie Vincent, Teacher, David Brown Middle School
  • Dana Zentgraf, Paraeducator II/ SpED, Keith McCarthy Academy
  • Shannon Tagney, Counselor, Lakeland Village School
  • Minerva Huerta, Site Supervisor Expanded Learning, Terra Cotta Middle School

Student Governing Board Representatives


The Student Governing Board Representatives are crucial to the monthly Board meetings. These scholars are hard-working and dedicated students that have accepted the responsibility of representing their schools to keep the Board of Trustees well-informed of current and upcoming school events. 

Board Presentation Highlights

Dr. Sarah Ragusa, Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Support Services, provided an update on the goals and actions under the priority of academic excellence. Academic Excellence goals include increasing student readiness for college and career, focusing on Early Literacy, and increasing opportunities and outcomes for students at promise.

Board Action Highlights 📝

James Judziewicz, Assistant Superintendent, Facilities & Operations Support Services, updated Trustees on the District's capital building program from 2017 through 2023, including highlights of the completed and current projects and future proposed projects. The presentation included strategies and timelines for capital project funding.


Project highlights include:

  • Classroom Expansions
  • Security Upgrades
  • School Marquees
  • Playgrounds & Shade Structures

Adventure Awaits!


Our Board of Trustees approved eight trips for scholars, including an EHS Boys Volleyball Tournament, USA Cheer Nationals, Future Farmers of America Field Day, Astro Camp, and AVID Junior College Tours.
