UNITY SUNDAY

ONE LORD, ONE CHURCH

-For this service, we ask that anyone who is physically able, please park in the North Building parking lot or one of our grassy lots. Parking signs will be present at all FBC lots.

-Please remember, as you get dressed for church, put on your smile and come ready to experience unity.

-Even if you aren't an assigned greeter please greet those

around you.

-If you are willing to help in our nursery during the service please contact Mia Taylor, First Kids Director (Miataylorfbcp@gmail.com). We are expected to have an additional 30 kids in the nursery this Sunday.

-Come ready to receive a blessing as we serve and worship alongside our Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

WATCHING THE WEATHER

As Hurricane Helena approaches our area, we want to proceed with caution as we care for our church family and community. With that said, we will have our Wednesday night activities but our church office may be closed on Thursday as the majority of the storm passes.

Please note our Deacon list and please reach out to them if you are in need of assistance.

UPCOMING NEW BIBLE STUDIES

BETTER MAN STUDY:

What does being a man really mean? Today men are confused. Predominant culture in the 1970’s said “I don’t need a man.” Culture in the 90’s said “I don’t want a man.” Today we are asking “what is a man?”.

BetterMan is about activating a better masculinity - the true and timeless masculinity God designed from the beginning in Genesis.

BetterMan is a group study on the essentials of biblical manhood. Each session consists of compelling teaching followed by group discussion that provides a clear vision for biblical masculinity and practical ways to become the man God calls us to be.

*Disclaimer: This is NOT a study that beats-up on men for being men.
