You may have seen our crews and vehicles out and about the past several months. We have been working on constructing the foundation for the project, which will act as the ‘backbone’ of the internet and voice system we will offer. This includes installing key network elements required for data transmission, as well as installing aerial fiber or burying fiber underground depending on the location.

We are also happy to share that the coverage area has grown! We’ve continued to pursue additional sources of funding and now some areas that were not initially included have been added to the project. If your location was not in the first round, you may want to take a look at the interactive map to check. We will continue to look for additional funding opportunities to further expand the coverage area.

We anticipate receiving final approval on our construction plan in the coming weeks and we will share the schedule/timeline for the project. When we communicate this schedule, we will also provide information regarding any specific contributions required by each customer, including those for very long driveways. The grant stipulates that the project must be completed by the end of 2026. It is our intention to provide service well before this deadline.
