The City Council met on April 24, 2018 and adopted its Goals and prioritized projects and initiatives for fiscal year 2018-19. See the complete list of Goals and Council-Prioritized Projects / Initiatives here . The work of City Council and City staff will continue to strive for: Fiscal Sustainability, A Connected Community, Stewardship of City Infrastructure, A Healthy and Compassionate Community, Preserve and Enhance Natural Resources, A Strong Workforce Infrastructure, and Maintaining a Safe Community. The 19 major prioritized projects and initiatives that were adopted will make this upcoming fiscal year a busy and exciting year! City of Pacifica Celebrates Bay Area Bike to Work Day on May 10
May is National Bike Month, and Thursday, May 10th marks the San Francisco Bay Area’s 24th annual Bike to Work Day, a grand celebration of bicycling as a healthy, fun and viable form of transportation. Stop by Pacifica’s Energizer Station for encouragement, refreshments and goodies, located in the Vallemar Station parking lot, at the corner of Coast Highway and Reina del Mar, on Thursday, May 10 from 6:00am – 8:30am. The Pacifica Police Department will also be conducting specialized safety enforcement operations for bicycles and motorcycles this month (click the links for more information).

  • Economic Analysis Methodology for Sea Level Rise - Public Meeting on May 10 - A public meeting/Community Work Group meeting will be hosted on Thursday, May 10 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Pacifica Community Center Auditorium, 540 Crespi Drive to review the proposed economic analysis methodology for the upcoming Sea Level Rise Adaptation Plan. The presentation will discuss the Economic Analysis Methodology Memorandum available for review at www.cityofpacifica.org/sealevelrise.   • Gun Buy-Back Event on May 12 - The Pacifica Police Department is joining the Daly City and Colma Police Departments for a gun buy back event on May 12 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Daly City City Hall located at 333 – 90th Street, Daly City. * Firearms must be unloaded and either in a vehicle trunk or a locked storage box in the rear of your vehicle. NO walk-ups allowed. * See the Event Flyer for more information.

  • Help Plan Transportation Investments with Get Us Moving San Mateo County - A new Countywide survey has been posted to help develop a community-driven plan to reduce traffic congestion and get San Mateo County moving again. In the Get Us Moving Budget Challenge you set the budgets to beat traffic. Invest in transportation and freeways or fix potholes. Help plan our County's future transportation investments by taking the Budget Challenge or attending one of the upcoming Transportation Priorities Town Hall Meetings and sharing your priorities. The next Town Hall meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 2 at 6:30pm at the Doelger Senior Center, 101 Lake Merced Blvd. in Daly City. Pacifica Police Participate in Emergency Preparedness Fair

On April 30 th the Pacifica Police Department attended an Emergency Preparedness Event at Skyline College along with the San Mateo County Office of Emergency Services (OES), the San Mateo Sheriff's Office.
