Highlights: Pacifica Library Project Community Meeting, Update on FAA Response to Aircraft Noise, Commission / Committee Openings
Connect With Pacifica This Week
Greetings!

The future of library services in Pacifica is the subject of a community meeting being held on Tuesday, May 23 at the Ingrid B. Lacy Middle School at 1427 Palmetto Avenue.  An open house will begin at 4pm and a workshop starts at 7pm. Libraries are part of the foundation of every community. I hope you can be there to help shape our City’s future through your active participation.

You may have noticed the markings on Palmetto Avenue, from Clarendon to Paloma Avenues, and wondered, "What’s going on there?”  This past March the City Council approved the long-planned Palmetto Streetscape Project, which will enhance the physical and walking environment of that section of this important commercial area. The markings lay the groundwork for the improvements. Groundbreaking is on schedule to begin in June, and the majority of construction is expected to be completed by this fall.

Please let me know if you have comments or questions, and  thank you for wanting to   Connect with Pacifica!

Best,
KEITH BRESKIN
Interim City Manager
