Connect With Pacifica This Week
Greetings!

Caltrans is nearing completion of Highway 1 paving! All of the paving on the mainline highway is complete, with work remaining on guardrails, shoulders, curbs and traffic signals. See this update notice for more details. They are also making good progress on the San Jose pedestrian overcrossing. Note the nighttime full closure of Highway 1 Sept. 23-27 to accommodate bridge work. And if you’re out on Hwy 1 this Saturday enjoying the new paving, please be mindful of bicyclists participating in the 2018 California Coast Classic ride.

Next Tuesday evening, Sept. 25 from 7-9 p.m. at the Community Center, there will be an informational meeting hosted by San Mateo County about the Ohlone-Portola Heritage Trail. Come learn how in 1769 this Spanish explorer, through the graciousness and knowledge of the Ohlone people, shaped the course of San Mateo County history.

Please let me know if you have comments or questions, and  thank you  for wanting to  Connect with Pacifica !

Sincerely,
KEVIN WOODHOUSE
City Manager
