Connect With Pacifica This Week
If you were one of the Pacifica residents who took the time to provide your input on one of the "Get Us Moving" transportation priorities surveys that were mentioned in past Connect With Pacifica newsletters - thank you! You have helped inform the San Mateo County Transit District of the transportation needs that Pacificans feel are important. The County has posted results of the surveys and outreach here. Take a look.
In my column in the Pacifica Tribune this month, I discuss the proposed FY2018-19 budget and highlight several major project milestones and accomplishments as we finish out the current fiscal year.
Please let me know if you have comments or questions, and thank you for wanting to Connect with Pacifica!
Get Us Moving Transportation Priorities Survey Results - Over the past several months, Get Us Moving San Mateo County has been conducting public outreach and inviting feedback through Town Hall meetings and their Transportation Priorities and Budget Challenge surveys to determine our County’s most pressing transportation needs and how to best invest in the future of transportation in San Mateo County. The results of this input have been used to draft an investment plan that will be taken to the SamTrans Board and the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors. See a presentation summarizing the input received and highlights from the draft investment plan here. For more information, check out www.getusmovingsmc.com.
