Connect With Pacifica This Week

I recently met a resident of Pacifica while walking to the market at lunchtime who told me, when I asked about his line of work, he was a computational chemist . My curiosity was piqued, as I knew nothing about that field of work. We had a pleasant exchange about his work, as well as about the City. It was fascinating, and reminded me how acting on one’s curiosity, even if by asking a simple question, can be so energizing, which is my segue to mention the plethora of interesting summer program offerings provided by the City’s Parks, Beaches, and Recreation Department and the theme of my column in this week’s Pacifica Tribune about how parks and recreation make life better. There’s something for everyone in these programs to satisfy your curiosity and get you energized – from childcare programs, to seniors programs, to sports, pool/swim, arts, dance, social, adventure, cooking, youth leadership programs and more. I encourage you to peruse the “Play” Activity Guide , available at www.cityofpacifica.org as well as in print form at any City facility, and take advantage of the offerings.

Please let me know if you have comments or questions, and  thank you  for wanting to  Connect with Pacifica !
