Connect With Pacifica This Week

A reminder about tonight’s (12/14) Hwy 1 closure of the Tom Lantos (Devil’s Slide) Tunnel for an emergency response training drill. On Monday night, December 17th, the official City Council Reorganization ceremony and celebration will occur, honoring the service of Councilmember Sue Digre (16 years) and Mayor John Keener (4 years), and welcoming incoming new Councilmembers Sue Beckmeyer and Mary Bier, and returning Councilmember Mike O’Neill. You are invited to attend this Special Meeting, to begin immediately following the brief Adjourned Regular meeting at 7:00 p.m.. In other exciting City news, paving projects on Linda Mar Blvd. and Oceana Blvd. will begin at the end of December. Thank you in advance for your patience during these construction projects; the contractor will be taking measures to minimize inconveniences. And the end result of these paving projects, estimated by March (weather permitting), will be a much smoother and safer ride along these streets -- a good way to begin 2019.

Please let me know if you have comments or questions, and  thank you  for wanting to  Connect with Pacifica !
