Christmas Poinsettias

Remember, honor, or thank someone special in your life by dedicating a Christmas poinsettia to them. The poinsettias adorn our altars during services on Christmas Eve and Day and through the end of December - as long as they last!

The suggested donation is a minimum of $30 (the cost of one poinsettia). Checks should be made out to St. Aidan’s with “Christmas Poinsettias” in the memo line and should be submitted to the church office by Thursday, December 19.

Regardless of how you make a donation, EMAIL or call the office by Thursday to let us know the dedication information.

February 2025

Beloved Community Gospel Choir

Come sing with us this February as part of the Beloved Community Gospel Choir! The expanded choir will be led by Eric Smith and facilitated by Wes Leffingwell, St. Aidan's Music Director. Rehearsals will be on Wednesdays, and the choir will sing on Sundays at the 10am service, filling our worship with the spirit of gospel music. You are welcome to join whether you’re a seasoned singer or just love to lift your voice in song. Visit St. Aidan’s Beloved Community Gospel for more details and to sign up.

12th Night Potluck and Readers Theatre

Sun Jan 5, 4-6pm

Join us on Sunday, January 5, for a festive celebration of the 12th Night Potluck & Reader’s Theatre as we close out the Christmas season together in joy and fellowship! Bring a dish to share for the potluck at 4pm, then stay to enjoy a lively read-through of the short and playful play, "Like Taking Frankincense from a Baby," written by parishioner Kathy Reed. Whether you come to share your voice or simply enjoy the fun, there’s a place for everyone—sign up in the Parish Hall!

If Music Be The Food..." Benefit concert

Thurs Dec 19th, 6pm

Boulder Public Library Canyon Theater

This beautiful concert has outgrown our space at St. Aidan's, a partnership that began before COVID. Musicians and volunteers join together to raise awareness for food insecurity in our local community. Admission is free: the audience is invited to bring non-perishable food items or monetary donations - all donations go directly to Harvest of Hope Food Pantry in Boulder. Enjoy if you are able to attend!

"Natterers" Reforming - calling all lovers of handicrafts!

Did you know that St. Aidan's used to have a handicraft group called the Natterers? We would meet once a week to work on both our own and group projects. We have knitted hats for newborns, made baby and baptismal quilts, done some church mending, and worked on making church banners. Some of our members even taught us how to do something new. During this time, we talked ("nattered") with one another as much as we worked. A few of us are interested in getting this group started again. If this is something that would interest you, please reach out to Gillian Brown HERE or at 303-494-3042.

Book Group meets every Wednesday on Zoom

St. Aidan's book group is finishing William Faulkner's “Absalom, Absalom." Beginning January 8, the next book to jump in and join the conversation is Emile Zola's “The Ladies’ Paradise.” Get the Zoom link to join and more information from Jim Paine HERE.

Writers Small Group

1st & 3rd Mondays 1pm to 2:30pm

The Writers Small Group is a creative group that shares our current writing (a poem, a short essay, a descriptive passage, or a spiritual meditation). The group reflects together and encourages each other. All levels of writing experience and skill are welcome! This group meets via ZOOM and in person. Contact Paul Voakes HERE for more details.
