As we step into fall, my office remains focused on strengthening Miramar for both our residents and our business community.
We’re working with schools to ensure students have access to healthy meals, staying connected with our senior centers to support their programs, and engaging with local businesses and corporate partners to help them grow and thrive. When our families, seniors, and small businesses succeed, our entire city moves forward together.
Housing affordability continues to be a top priority for my office. I’m proud to advocate for policies that make homeownership more accessible and help residents remain in the city they love. My office also listens closely to the concerns of our business community — ensuring their voices are represented as we plan for Miramar’s economic growth and long-term sustainability.
Every day, I am honored to represent the people of Miramar — standing up for families, seniors, students, and business owners alike. My office is here to serve, to listen, and to lead with purpose. Together, we’re building a stronger, more affordable, and more connected Miramar for all.
With pride, passion, and purpose,
Avril Cherasard
City of Miramar Commissioner
