Resources to Elevate Your Career

Got a job or internship offer but need more time to decide? It is okay to ask for an extension—just be sure to ask respectfully and promptly. Express gratitude for the offer, explain your situation honestly (e.g., you may need time to consult mentors, upcoming exams or academic commitments, etc.), and propose a reasonable new deadline. Employers appreciate transparency clear communication, and many are willing to accommodate if you ask early and professionally.
