It's Our Day!

Tomorrow is Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day. And we want to thank all of our members and volunteers who help make our chamber, and our business community, great!

My favorite thing about being a member is...

10.24 - Capital Budget Webinar

Every two years, communities in Ohio have the opportunity to gain funding for building and renovation projects as part of the state's capital budget. The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce is again working with our region’s legislators to identify community related projects in Lucas, Wood, and Fulton counties for possible inclusion in the upcoming state fiscal year 2025-2026 capital budget bill.

If your organization is considering participating in the capital budget process, plan on joining us for an informational webinar on October 24th from 2-3 pm. We will cover the process in its entirety including deadlines, submission requirements, and other important details, as well as answer participant's questions.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.

11.15 FOCUS on Business Member Lunch presented by KeyBank

At next month's lunch, discover how the Port of Toledo, as part of the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence region, is a vital part of the industrial and agricultural supply chains to both the United States and Canada. If it were a country, the output of this region would represent the third-largest economy in the world — behind the U.S. and China — and our Port sits right in the middle of it. Learn more from our keynote speaker, Steve Fisher, Executive Director of the American Great Lakes Ports Association.

Small business leaders and owners, this is an opportunity for you

While high interest rates might be good for your savings account, they can be detrimental to businesses trying to access capital and keep their business running. That is why the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Federal Reserve (the Fed) so that you can inform the Fed presidents about the economic conditions impacting your business. This is your chance to influence the decision-making process at the federal level on interest rates and access to capital programs.

Help bring to light the state of small business in the Toledo Region and what is needed for our future success. The survey takes about 12-minutes and closes on November 17th.
