Homecoming and Family Weekend Kicks Off Tomorrow: Don't Forget to Register for Events!
We look forward to seeing you back on campus as we welcome alumni, families, and friends to Homecoming and Family Weekend, starting tomorrow!
Join us at the playing fields, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and show your Colonel Spirit as our sports teams compete throughout the weekend.
Off the field, join us for the Picnic Under the Stars on Friday evening; Saturday morning yoga, a great way to start the day; participate in mini-classes; meet our new President, Jay Gonzalez; join us at the Homecoming tent with chili, chowder and a beer garden!; and check out the Family Fun Zone at Walter M. Katz ’89 Field! End the day celebrating our alumni sports legends at the Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony.
The weekend will also include the 1st Annual Curry Classic Golf Outing, 10th annual EvvGirl hike in the Blue Hills with our School of Nursing students, Sunday brunches, and so much more fun!

Bring your blanket and enjoy a picnic under the stars at Westhaver Park with games and music provided by the students at WMLN. This is a great opportunity to gather with alumni, students, and families all together celebrating Curry.

Autumn is when summer transitions into winter. Join Curry alum Brittany Capozzi '10 as we transition from breathwork to sun salutations and yoga nidra (yoga sleep). In the spirit of Homecoming and Family Weekend, practitioners will be invited to explore haysa yoga (Laughter Yoga) while transitioning between traditional poses.

Athletic Hall of Fame Ceremony and Reception

The Curry College Athletic Hall of Fame will welcome eight new alumni to its ranks during Homecoming and Family Weekend this fall.
The College will honor these new members during a special reception and induction ceremony, in recognition of both their outstanding athletic achievements and their passionate support of the Curry Colonels. The event will begin with a reception at 5:00 p.m. followed by the ceremony at 6:00 p.m.

2nd Annual School of Nursing Dean’s Brunch for Alumni/Faculty Emerita

This event is open to alumni from the School of Nursing, and we would love to have you join us. Curry College School of Nursing Alumna Karen Daley '85, Hon. '17, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, who served from 2010-2014 as the President of the American Nurses Association - the nation’s largest nursing organization representing the interests of the nation’s 3.5 million registered nurses - will speak with our guests about her experiences and the nursing profession today.

Class Notes
Sara Letourneau ’07 (pictured, top) signed a book contract with Kelsay Books to publish her debut poetry collection, Wild Gardens, in late summer 2024. She also won the Beals Prize for Poetry for her poem "At the Immersive Monet & the Impressionists Exhibit." She is now working full-time as an independent book editor, writing coach, and workshop instructor at Heart of the Story Editorial & Coaching Services.
Erlande K. Jean-Louis ’09, MBA’11 has been promoted to Senior Ops Manager, Facilities & Operations at BWH.

Lauren Gaffney ’17 and Chris Robey ’17 (pictured, bottom) were married on September 8, 2023. Their wedding included many fellow Curry alumni.
Daniel West ’23 started his Master's in Higher Education Administration and currently works at the Therapeutic Day School in Bridgewater, MA.
