As students head back to school stress may be on the rise for many. Morning routines get hectic, extra traffic adds time to commutes, and by the end of the day everyone is tired and maybe a little grumpy. During big changes and stressful times it is important to not lose sight of our own self care.

Next time you feel like you don't have time to take care of yourself, try one of these five minute self care activities:
  1. List 5 things you're grateful for
  2. Breathe deeply, feeling your belly rise and fall with each breath
  3. Wash your face
  4. Drink a glass of water
  5. Stand up and walk around
  6. Listen to a favorite song
  7. Stretch
  8. Color a picture
  9. Pay yourself a compliment
  10. Turn your phone on silent
