Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, members of His flock, of which Jesus is the Shepherd (John 10:16), Jesus being the first to preach His gift of repentance (Matthew 4:17), now calling on each of us also to preach repentance (Luke 24:47).
The Lord God Almighty, Adonai, counts the hairs on your head; He knew you in your mother's womb.
We are now in a holy time leading up to the day of atonement, a Feast of the Lord, Leviticus 23:26-32. That day is a time to "afflict your soul."
And now, once you've repented, chosen Him as Lord, and you're in His Flock, John 10:16, you can now honor Him by afflicting your soul every day of the year, honoring the ongoing loving conviction of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
"Afflict your souls" is a needed, cleansing experience for all of us to become His spotless Bride. Ephesians 5:27.
And the more we remove old sin patterns the more we will be praising Him!
Praising Him with His Word aloud makes us even more connected to Him!

Bless Adonai, my soul!
Everything in me, bless his holy name!

Bless Adonai, my soul,
and forget none of his benefits!

He forgives all my offenses,
he heals all my diseases,

he redeems my life from the pit,
he surrounds me with grace and compassion,

he contents me with good as long as I live,
so that my youth is renewed like an eagle’s.

Adonai brings vindication and justice
to all who are oppressed.

He made his ways known to Moshe,
his mighty deeds to the people of Isra’el.

Adonai is merciful and compassionate,
slow to anger and rich in grace.

He will not always accuse,
he will not keep his anger forever.

He has not treated me as my sins deserve

because his mercy toward me, I fear him,
