BE IN THE KNOW!

Safe and stable housing is essential for healthy child development. In Broomfield, our cost of living and housing prices are on the higher end in Colorado. What does this mean for our neighbors and our community as a whole?

The Broomfield Sweep report is a fantastic deep dive into housing for Broomfield. Marrton Dormish has created a chronicle of stories, statistics and analysis that traces how housing shaped, and continues to shape, Broomfield and the wider region.

This report sheds light into our community as a whole, allowing you to form your own opinions on what we can do for our community to support safe and stable housing for families and early childhood.

Early Childhood Education and Child Care is catching the much needed attention and resources of our policy makers! A new bill to support an additional to support the workforce of early childhood and create more space (or slots) for children.

Early Childhood Education workforce historically does not make high wages. This bill will help to support higher workforce pay AND can also reduce the cost of child care to parents.

With the additional help of this bill, our children and their families will have greater access to high quality care to help prepare them for Kindergarten and beyond!
