This Wednesday, January 25th, go to the Beverly Public Library for "Living Room Conversations: Addressing Anti-Semitism in our Community". This program is part of an ongoing exploration in Beverly to learn about and respond to anti-semitism on the North Shore. We will begin with a panel discussion with Rabbi Alison Adler (Temple B’nai Abraham). We will then break up into small, facilitated dialogue groups to cultivate connections with other community members and to deepen our understanding of how to concretely work against anti-semitism. Next Wednesday, is the 2nd Annual Art As Activism Film Fest at the Cabot. This event is free but registration is requested. The Art As Activism Film Fest will showcase short films by high schoolers across Massachusetts. The top ten submissions will be screened on February 1st at 7pm. Amplifying Voices: A Celebration of Diversity in Film is the first of what will be an annual two-day film event in Beverly, MA celebrating and screening the perspectives and artwork of filmmakers of color. The event takes place February 3 – 4, 2023, learn more and register here.
