Dear ERDI Members,
As we navigate the challenges presented by COVID-19 and the changes that are taking place each day in response, we are eager to support the ERDI Community. We thank each of you for your leadership and generosity during this time and aim to contribute by connecting thought partners, sharing messages and insights, and serving as a conduit for information sharing. Please call upon us. We're ready and willing to help in any way we can.

With much gratitude,
Dr. Joseph Wise & Dr. Jennifer Ferrari
#ImpactEd Chat
Navigating COVID-19 First: Lessons from Washington State
Here's what we learned...
  • All is fair in love and war (COVID-19).
  • Working as a region is critical. #BetterTogether
  • Having a high functioning crisis team or management team makes all the difference. Prepare now.
  • Life continues during COVID-19, so the show must go on, and we must be prepared.
  • Show gratitude and take special care of our essential personnel. They are sacrificing much to ensure the wellbeing of others.
  • We also have to figure out ways to spell those who are continuing to work during this time so that they don't burn out.
  • Find joy and humor despite the circumstances.
  • Check in and take care of one another.
  • Trust your gut!

A Looking ahead
ERDI I/II/III/IV Summer Institutes

Assuming we'll see the other side of things by July and be more than ready to spend time together, we plan to convene all of our cohorts this summer, July 11-18, 2020 in Baltimore, Maryland.

We're adapting! The combined ERDI III/IV Institute will be held adjacent to our scheduled ERDI I/II institutes. The Summer Institute schedule creates new possibilities for collaboration between cohorts and provides solution providers with a unique opportunity to take advantage of multiple perspectives during the same week.
ERDI Education Leaders will receive
updated RSVPs and logistics information next week.
