Pulpit Guest: Rabbi Jessica Rosenberg
Rabbi Jessica Rosenberg will explore the parsha's complex relationships to land and earth through the lenses of queerness and embodiment.
Rabbi Jessica Rosenberg became a rabbi in order to learn our people’s diverse and nuanced histories, tell stories, and create spaces, ritual, and organizing that helps transform our relationships to past, present and future. She is a collective member of the Radical Jewish Calendar project, and organizes with Matir Asurim: Jewish Care Network for Incarcerated People. She is a writer and teacher on integrating trauma-informed pedagogy into Jewish education, ritual and organizing, and authored an Introduction to Trauma, Healing and Resilience for Rabbis, Jewish Educators and Organizers, published by Reconstructing Judaism

Lasagna-Making Havdalah
Dorot Tzion, our intergenerational group, gathered to make lasagnas for Lasagna Love, engage in text study, and celebrate Havdalah.

OSRUI Send-Off
We have 33 campers and 2 counselors going to OSRUI, the Reform Movement’s regional sleepaway camp! First session campers left for Oconomowoc on Monday, and everyone is looking forward to an amazing summer!

In the Community
- Join Jewish Family and Children's Service of Minneapolis for Memory Café, a gathering for people with memory loss and their caregivers. Café members meet twice per month for activities and socialization in a comfortable, supportive environment. The Summer 2022 Café will be held Wednesday afternoons from 1:30-3 pm on June 29, July 13, July 27, Aug. 10, and Aug. 24 at the Community Room at JFCS - 5905 Golden Valley Rd, Golden Valley. - J-Pride is seeking volunteers for Twin Cities Pride! J-Pride will be hosting a booth at Twin Cities Pride on Saturday, June 25 (noon-6pm) and Sunday, June 26 (noon-6pm), and are looking for volunteers to join us in the booth, welcoming visitors, playing games, handing out swag and soaking in the vibrancy of Loring Park during Pride. We are also looking for anyone and everyone who wishes to celebrate LGBTQ+ Jewishness by joining us in the parade on Sunday morning! Imagine passing out candy, dancing the hora down Hennepin, spreading joy! We can’t wait to see you on Hennepin Avenue!
