Jessica Miller is a passionate gardener and the director of the Veteran Farm Project, a veteran run organization founded in 2018. Jessica was retiring from the CAF and looking to spend time with like-minded women. In Nova Scotia, there were very few groups just for women and that is when the Veteran Farm Project was created. The group has been growing fresh vegetables and flowers and donating weekly food packages to veterans and families facing food insecurities.
