One person can make a big difference.

We are highlighting two people during Arts & Culture month, we share with you why they have impacted the arts, and hope that you will be inspired to create your own impact.

Anu Vuorikoski served as the Treasurer for the Arts Council for a total of five years. Volunteers are pillars of our community.

She greatly valued a vibrant arts community and was keenly aware of the financial struggles artists and arts organizations face. This passion and awareness evolved in to her legacy gift, that created the Arts Council of Placer County Endowment Fund with Placer Community Foundation. Learn more:

Tatyana Kjellberg is a "Wonder Woman" who supports her community in so many ways. As the Vice President Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley's Allen Feest Kjellberg Wealth Management Group, she saw a way to support the arts in Placer County and made it happen. The Group assists clients with tax-deductible charitable giving, and thanks to Tatayana the Arts Council of Placer County is now on the list of organizations where donations can be made!
