Fall at Cathedral
Kindergarten continues with the
popular tradition of dressing up in costume for the annual
Halloween Parade, sharing their spirit for the holiday with the rest of the school.
As part of the LS Biology curriculum, Ms. Williams teaches students how to grow and harvest corn. The end goal is to make popcorn to share with their friends.
Breaky Fixy is now offered as an Elective at The Cathedral School. Led by Mr. Donaldson in the Innovation Lab, this class encourages students to bring broken items to school and exercise their problem solving skills to fix them. They have worked on anything from bikes to wooden chairs, and even an iPhone with water damage (pictured above). The students use tools provided by the Innovation Lab.

2018 graduates Isabelle Ewing, Amelia Dupont, and Julia Carey, along with '19 graduate, Sabine Bieler, all ran in the NYSAIS Cross Country Championships at Van Cortlandt Park.
Ben Ghatan ' 18, currently a sophomore at Riverdale, was part of a select group of New York State high school students invited to speak at the NYSAIS Head of Schools Conference at Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz.
Members of the Class of 2019 stopped by Cathedral on Veteran's Day to visit teachers, staff, and their younger peers. They were especially excited to see an all-school photo from 1995 in the Advancement Office featuring Dr. Vitale! We are thrilled to hear that they are thriving in high school, while continuing to make time to visit and relive their Cathedral memories.
