Upcoming Sunday Services

Our Sunday services are at 9 & 11am, unless otherwise noted.

Jan. 18 - Saying the F Word with Rev. Jessica Clay and music from the WBUUC Choir

Special Social Hour - Meet your geographical neighbors

This Sunday, in the spirit of connecting with fellow church members who are also neighbors, we’re going to be gathering in the social hall after each of the two services to gather with people who live near us. Many of you have expressed a desire to know more about ways to resist the current ICE occupation (in small ways and large). Our hope for this Sunday is that we can gather in geographically oriented groups to meet our “neighbors” and brainstorm ways of mutual support, mutual aid, find “protest buddies” and just plain connection.

Jan. 25 - The Nonviolent Commitment with Cas Burr and music from Willow Waters

Feb. 1 - Small Indomitable Voices with Rev. Kristin Maier and music from the WBUUC Choir

Door Monitors Needed

In response to the presence of ICE in the metro area and out of an abundance of caution, the front doors of the building will be locked – during business hours (Tue-Thu, 10am-4pm) as well as during evening programming and Sunday mornings. We are looking for volunteers to serve as Door Monitors for Wednesday Evenings and Sunday Mornings.

What will a door monitor do?

The sole purpose of a door monitor is to close a locked door if it is obvious that ICE vehicles are in the parking lot and/or ICE agents are approaching our front door. The ONLY responsibility of the door monitor is to close the door (which will already be locked) before any ICE agent gets to the front door. There is no obligation of engaging with any federal officers. There will be no engagement with the ICE officers. The door monitor’s job will be to AVOID engaging with or conversing with the ICE offers. Questions? Contact Rev. Jack
