SISTERHOOD SPOTLIGHT
We are proud to spotlight Stacy Wright this month!
Stacy has found time to help children and families in the community, be a Sisterhood officer and play a key role in our Congregation while owning her own business and raising four boys! In 2018, she stepped down after graciously volunteering as Sisterhood's Treasurer for 10 years! She co-chaired the Congregation's Mitzvah Day. Currently, Stacy and her husband, Allen sponsor Mitvzah Meals in Olathe and Allen does the cooking when it is our Congregation's night to volunteer. Selling her business in 2018, has given Stacy more time to devote her energies to community service projects like Happy Bottoms and CASA. She became interested in becoming a Johnson County Court Appointed Special Advocate while attending Sisterhood's 2018 membership luncheon and has now received her training and is working with custody cases in which the judge needs someone to represent the child's interest.

Stacy invites you, your children and grandchildren to a fun fundraiser to help CASA children, conveniently held at Scheels on Sunday, July 28! The CASA SuperHero Kids Fun Run will feature a short-course fun run, family-friendly activities, vendors, costume contests and more! Registration is $25 per child (10 and under). This includes superhero swag, race medal, goodie bag, Scheel's Ferris Wheel admission, and access to all event activities. Join Stacy and CASA for a day of superhero fun and help to support the abused and neglected children of our community. For details, CLICK HERE

If you would like to suggest a woman for our "Sisterhood Spotlight" who has given of her time to Sisterhood, our Congregation, and our community, please submit her name to Lois Bernstein, at sisterhoodcbj@gmail.com

CLEAN UP YOUR HOME FOR OUR CAUSE!

You will get a tax donation form and Sisterhood gets a percentage of the earnings thanks to our Sisterhood member, Lori Siegel, the owner of the resale shop "A Lotta Stuff at Stan's".

Items should be in the garage boxed and ready to go. If necessary she can help clean out and remove usable items from your home for a reasonable charge. Lori can use almost any item as long as it is not ripped, stained, broken, and still has some usefulness.

To arrange a pick-up, please call Lori's cell, 816-668-3960, or
