THE CONNECTION
SEPTEMBER 2019
SISTERHOOD OF
The Temple, Congregation B'nai Jehudah
A Women of Reform Judaism Organization
Yom Kippur is the day we say I'm sorry for the inappropriate deeds of the past year and strive to be the best we can in this new year, 5780. Our Sisterhood will strive, as well, to make the coming year better than the last...in the serving of our congregation, its youth and our community,
G'mar Hatimah Tovah
May you be sealed in the Book of Life

The Sisterhood Board
Cry No More
Cry no more for the sins of the past.
Rejoice in your repentance and your return.
For this is the day that God made
To lift you up from your sorrow and shame,
To deliver you to the gates of righteousness.

Remember this:
Love is the crown of your life
And wisdom the rock on which you stand.
Charity is your staff
And justice your shield.
Your deeds declare your kindness
And your works declare your devotion.

Cry no more for your fears and your dread.
Rejoice in your blessings and your healing.
For this is the day that God made
To raise your countenance and hope,
To deliver you to the gates of holiness.
