Dear friends,
This coming week we will be focusing on joy-- come ready with prayers of joy to add to our advent candle. Reflecting on joy brought this Andre Gide quote to mind:
Know that joy is rarer, more difficult, and more beautiful than sadness. Once you make this all-important discovery, you must embrace joy as a moral obligation.”
I'll be talking about joy and contentment in the midst of these challenging days. AND-- the bell choir is back with special music!!! It is going to be beautiful!
And speaking of beautiful, I hope that if you feel safe you'll come in person-- the sanctuary is absolutely magical thanks to our Liturgical Arts Ministry.
Be sure to come in person or to tune in! And, send in your prayers for peace ahead of time to Chase and we will add them to the Advent Candle of JOY this Sunday.
