Girl Scouts Unplugged!
On April 16th, fifty Girl Scouts chosen by lottery from across Maine participated in a day of hands-on learning with program partner, Central Maine Power. The event included demonstrations, panel discussion, and even going up in a bucket truck.
A special thank you to Governor Mills who came to share encouragement for women in STEM and trade careers, and the CMP teams at the Farmingdale Line Worker Training Facility and Augusta headquarters for providing a one-of-a-kind experience for Girl Scouts.
