A huge thank you to all of our teachers, coordinators, and families for making our return to in-person children’s worship! We all had so much fun throughout the year in Sunday School, Anchor and Kid’s Word, that we are already planning for next year! Laura and I will be praying for a safe, fun summer for all of our DUMC families and look forward to seeing you in service!

Lay Leader Insights:
The Prince of Peace
| In times of uncertainty, illness, or unrest it can be hard to feel God's presence around us. We look around and see the commotion of the world. We witness suffering, betrayal, and chaos. Life can seem so hard. | | |

A Prayer for Our Enemies
By W. David O. Taylor
O Lord, you who ask us to do the impossible—to bless our enemies, to pray for those who persecute us, and to love those who seek us harm—we pray that you would do the impossible in us: Help us to love our enemies as you love them and to remember who our true enemies are: Satan, death, and the spiritual forces of evil. Perform also a miracle in our enemies by your Spirit, and in your sovereign might restrain the power of evil in this world. We pray this in the name of the One who does impossible things. Amen.

Feed My Starving Children
mobile pack event to benefit Ukraine
St. Ann’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Warrington (on Route 611) is hosting a MobilePack event over Father's Day weekend, Friday, June 17 - Sunday, June 19. They are trying to pack one ocean-going container worth of food (272,160 meals) exclusively for the support and benefit of Ukrainian refugees. This is part of a larger 10,000,000 meal shipment to support Ukraine. If enough people volunteer to help, the outcome will make a huge difference in many lives.
