Announcing The New DUMC Covenant
Biblical Covenants are agreements between two entities that shape their relationship. Each promises to act a certain way (promises agreed upon by the other), with the requirement that the other keep their promise(s).
DUMC has just affirmed a Covenant that promises those who read it, especially people seeking to know the love of Christ, that our church will be an inclusive faith community. It promises that “we welcome all individuals, including - but not limited to - people of any race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, nationality, and background.”
All that we expect from the reader is that they accept us as we are – sin-stained-grace-saved, diverse, fellow-pilgrims on this journey called discipleship.
Please take the time to read our Covenant.

Staff Snapshot:
Mike O'Neill
Many of DUMC’s dedicated staff work hard behind the scenes and may not be seen or known by many. We thought you might enjoy getting to know them better, and not just their job responsibilities, but who they really are. We feature different staff members over the year, giving you a little glimpse into what makes them tick, smile, and sometimes laugh and cry.
This month we feature Mike O'Neill, our Daytime Sexton.

December Mission of the Month:
CSSH CODE BLUE
| | | |
Our mission for the month of December is the Coalition to Shelter and Support the Homeless (CSSH). CSSH is the nonprofit that runs Code Blue for Central Bucks. Code Blue is a program that offers overnight shelter, dinner, breakfast, and a bag lunch for the homeless in our area. The shelter is open when the temperature is below 28 degrees. Code Blue runs from December to March, with a different church hosting each month. CSSH also holds a monthly meal throughout the year for the homeless in our community. The CSSH opened the doors for 85 nights during the 2024/2025 season and provided shelter to 100 different individuals, representing a 37% increase from the previous year - this is impactful!

Holiday Party Donations - Thank You!
Recently, the church hosted a party for the clients of A Woman’s Place. It was a great success and we would like to extend our sincerest thank you to the congregation for the donations of gifts, food, and gift cards. We hosted 20 families with 36 children. Each child went home with smiles and gifts for their mom. Each family also went home with groceries, personal supplies, children's books, and new coats for the children. We would also like to thank the dedicated church volunteers who gave of their time and talents!

Youth Service Project - Recap
This past Sunday, our youth had the opportunity to bring church beyond our walls as they visited seven longtime members of DUMC. They loved getting to meet, talk with, and sing Christmas carols for these amazing individuals, and some groups even had the chance to share music with entire dining rooms in local care communities. Our young people demonstrated a great example of teamwork, compassion, and enthusiasm in each of their visits. It was a wonderful evening of spreading Christmas cheer and discovering what it means to partner with God to bring joy to others. A huge thank-you to the seven adults who volunteered and helped make this event such a success!
